Businesses that ship or work online
Say where you ship, the notice you need and what shipping costs. Hosts see your shipping cost, and an "Order by" date when their party is close.
How it works
Three steps, and you stay in charge
Make your listing
What you offer, your prices, how and where you work. (more)
Say what you offer and your prices, how you work (you come to the party, hosts pick up, you ship, or you work online), the area you cover and the party sizes you take. We look at every listing before it goes live.
Hosts nearby see you
When a host asks for your kind of vendor and you fit their party. (more)
When a host asks for your kind of vendor, and your area, party size and free dates fit their party, your card is on their list.
They send you a request
We email you, and you get in touch with them directly. (more)
You see the party and what the host chose to share. After the party, you tell us if it became a sale.
What it costs
All of it, in one place
Payments aren't switched on yet: listing is free, and nothing is charged (no 5%, no ad fees, no card). What it costs below is how it works once they start, and we'll email you at least 30 days before.
- Your listing
- FreeNo sign-up fee, no subscription.
- A booking with a host's voucher
- 5%
of the booking, never more than $100 a booking. (more)
Only when a host books you with an InviteFromMe voucher. Other sales, even from a host's request, owe nothing.
- Ads Optional
- Your choice
Being shown costs nothing: $2.50 when a host taps your “Ad” at the top spot, $1 in the list, the first tap per party, up to the monthly limit you set. (more)
With ads on, your card is marked Ad wherever the ranking puts you, and the best match among vendors who pay for ads gets the top spot. Only up to the monthly limit you set (at most $1,000). The limit starts at $0: no ads unless you turn them on, and hosts still see you, plain.
- How you pay
- One statement a month
Once payments start, charged to your card on the 1st. (more)
You add the card on Stripe's page; we never see the number.
For example
- A cake order of $600 with a voucher→ you pay $30
- A catering job of $3,000 with a voucher→ you pay $100the most for any one booking
No subscription. No per-lead charge.
Vouchers · optional
Take vouchers: they cover your fee first
Hosts earn InviteFromMe vouchers when their guests answer their invitation. If you take them, a host can pay up to 10% of your price with one. Up to 50% of the voucher goes toward the 5% you owe on that booking, never more than the 5% itself; the rest of the voucher becomes ad credits, which pay your ad fees. Ad credits last as long as your account is active; they are never cash, and they end when you close it.
For example, on a $300 booking (your 5% is $15): a $30 voucher covers $15, so you pay nothing, and $15 becomes ad credits; a $20 voucher covers $10, so you pay $5, and $10 becomes ad credits.
New accounts wait a little. (more)
You can take vouchers once your account has been open 30 days. The 5% is on the whole booking the host confirms, never more than $100.
Your offers
Put an offer on your card
Add an offer, like 15% off, $25 off, or free delivery, and hosts see it on your card, right beside your name.
Each offer has a code: a host gets the offer by using it. (more)
Each offer has a code: a host gets the offer by using it, sending you a request with it or mentioning it. Run as many as you like, on the products you choose, for as long as you choose. Offers help a host choose you. They never change where you appear on a host's list.
Already listed?
Claim it: it's free
If we list your business, it's yours to claim: correct anything we got wrong, add your prices and photos, or remove it.
Nothing asks you to pay to fix, keep or remove a listing. (more)
So hosts have choices from day one, we list some local party businesses from what they publish themselves: their website and public listings. Use the claim link if we've sent you one, or join with your business email: if it matches your listing, we'll offer it to you. Removing it takes it off at once.
Fair and open
No surprises
How we rank
By how well you match the party. Paying for ads never moves you up or down, except for the top spot. How ranking works
Real reviews only
Only a host who booked you can review you, and you can reply before it's published: you have 3 days.
No passwords
You sign in with a link we email you, then a passkey or an authenticator app.
A real person

Before you join
What to expect, honestly
Do I need a card? (more)
Not yet: payments aren't switched on. Once they are, you add a card to stay live, so your monthly statement can be paid without invoices to chase. You add it on Stripe's page; we never see the number.
When do I pay the 5%? (more)
Only when a host books you with an InviteFromMe voucher: 5% of the amount the host confirms, never more than $100. Other sales owe nothing, even from a host's request. After a host's party we still ask whether it became a sale, and for how much; "still in progress" is fine for a while. If you don't answer 21 days after the party, your listing pauses until you do. A customer who found you some other way is yours alone.
What do I learn about a host? (more)
Guests' details are never shared with vendors. When a host sends you a request, you get the party's date, size and town, the host's note, and the contact details that host chooses to share with you.
How many requests will I get? (more)
We can't promise a number. InviteFromMe is new, and we're starting in the Boston area. Listing costs nothing while you wait, and you pay only when a host books you with an InviteFromMe voucher.
Can I stop? (more)
Yes. Pause your listing any time, or close your account. Anything owed goes on a final statement, and you can come back by signing in again.
Where are the rules? (more)
In the vendor terms: plain words, short.
