No Mac or iPhone?
Email from InviteFromMe works in any browser. Sending from your own email or phone still uses your Mac, iPhone or iPad.
InviteFromMe
Guests see your name via InviteFromMe. Replies go to your verified email. Text messages still need your own device.
My own email (Mac or iPhone)
InviteFromMe doesn't send your invitations. Your own device does, through its Mail and Messages apps, so each invitation comes from your own email and phone number. Apple's free Shortcuts app is what lets this page ask your device to do that. Android phones and Windows computers don't have anything we can use for that yet.
What you can do on Android or Windows
- Build the whole invitation: details, picture, guest list and questions.
- Watch the replies, mark answers people give you in person, and download the list.
- Share your party's link in any app, so guests can find their name and answer.
To send, pick one
- Use any Mac, iPhone or iPad you can borrow. Open your party link on it, add the free Invite Sender shortcut once, and send. The invitations come from the email and phone number set up on that device.
- Make someone with a Mac or iPhone a co-host. On the Guests step, tap their name and make them a co-host. They get the private party link, open it on their device and send. The invitations then come from their email and number, so pick the person your guests would expect to hear from.
Your guests can be on anything
Guests get a normal text or email and reply on a web page. No app, no account.
